Additionally, she serves on the Human Services and Welfare Committee of the National Conference of State Legislators, and in July 2007, was selected by TheCenter for Women Policy Studies to join the Center’s Foreign Policy Institute forState Legislators.

 

She recently chaired a Task Force on Co-Mingling Mixed Populations in residential setting through Legislative appointment, and asked to serve on the advisory board for the Office of Minority Health for the NC Department of Health and Human Services.
